About Us

Since our launch in 2019, Playlister has grown to a platform that 10,000+ churches around the world rely on to run their ministries.

Before Playlister, a Kids Ministry leader used to have to mess with complicated tools and run USB sticks to all their TVs every week. If they wanted to put videos online, they had to use editing software that is complicated to understand. Kids Pastors are stretched too thin between church at-home and church in-person. Playlister is the way you get both of these tasks done - all by just building a playlist each week.

We believe in creating tools that empower churches to thrive, and we’re looking for a Customer Growth Manager to join our team in this exciting journey.

This unique role combines the responsibilities of a Business Development Representative (BDR) and a Customer Success (CS) agent, allowing you to play a vital part in growing our customer base while ensuring current customers achieve success and maximize their impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Growth (BDR)

  • Identify, reach out to, and qualify potential church partners through mail and phone
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demos to showcase how our solutions can transform their ministries.
  • Follow up on outbound leads from mail campaigns and nurture them through the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to close deals and hit growth targets that directly expand our impact on churches worldwide.

Customer Success (CS)

  • Guide churches through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and quick adoption of our solutions.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with current church customers, acting as their go-to resource.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services that enhance their experience.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and take steps to reduce churn while increasing engagement.
  • Provide thoughtful support to customers via Zendesk, solving issues and helping them maximize their ministry potential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recent Graduate (or soon-to-be): A bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proactive Nature: Someone who takes initiative, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is eager to make a difference on a small elite team.
  • Passion for Churches: A deep connection to or understanding of church communities and their unique needs is a big plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools like Zendesk or Close.io is a bonus but not required.
